The service
Beacon Pulse provides software to help medical practitioners record consultations and generate draft clinical documentation, including notes, prescriptions, sick notes, referral letters, and suggested billing codes.
Your responsibility as a practitioner
All documents generated by Beacon Pulse are drafts. You remain fully responsible for reviewing, correcting, and approving every document before it is used clinically, prescribed, signed, or issued to a patient. Beacon Pulse does not practice medicine and does not replace your clinical judgment.
Accounts and staff access
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for the actions of any staff members you invite. Staff access is limited to administrative functions; only the practitioner account can generate or sign clinical documents.
Subscription and billing
Beacon Pulse offers a free trial period, after which continued use requires an active paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed as described at the time of purchase and processed via PayFast and Paystack.
Refunds and cancellations
Beacon Pulse is a digital software service with no physical goods and no shipping. Because a free trial period is provided so you can evaluate the product before any payment is taken, paid subscription charges are generally non-refundable once processed. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you will not be charged again going forward. If you believe you were charged in error or experienced a technical issue that prevented you from using the service, contact us at info@beaconcore.co.za and we will review your case individually.
Limitation of liability
Beacon Pulse is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for clinical decisions made using documents generated by the service, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from its use.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
